Job Summary
Manage and mentor a team of loan accounting professionals, establishing quality control standards and serving as the escalation point for complex transaction issues. Own the full lifecycle of loan funds from disbursement through collection, overseeing AP/AR, payment application standards, and month-end close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting. Direct bank reconciliation, maintain loan data as the organization's single source of truth, and oversee the transition of closed assets to investors while supporting banking relationships and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in loan operations, agricultural real estate and operating lending, or financial services
- 2+ years in a supervisory or team lead capacity
- Strong working knowledge of loan documentation, loan accounting principles and best practices
- Strong working knowledge of banking protocols and transaction processing
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team
- Strong judgment in reviewing others' work
- Exceptional attention to detail

- Time management skills
- Proficiency with loan management systems
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with agricultural lending or Farm Service Agency processes
