Director of Landscaping

Develop and execute the resort's landscaping strategy across a 30+ acre property while managing the department's Profit & Loss and annual budget. Lead a team of approximately 16, including irrigation technicians and grounds mechanics, by handling hiring, training, scheduling, and performance discipline. Oversee preventive maintenance schedules for grounds equipment and irrigation systems, while managing pest control programs to maintain plant and turf health standards. Maintain strong cross-departmental relationships and report to the Assistant Director of Engineering. Requires 3–5 years of luxury resort landscaping leadership experience, horticulture certification, and knowledge of irrigation systems in dry climates. Salary is $58,000 with housing allowance, full health insurance, and 15 days of vacation.
