Job Summary
Director of Knowledge Management to build and lead the KM program at a major law firm. Own and execute the KM roadmap, scale KM attorneys and content specialists, and translate practice pain points into practical KM projects such as precedent collections, playbooks, clause resources, checklists, and matter profiles. Define standards for KM assets, govern metadata, currency, and permissions, and develop AI-ready content collections that attorneys can trust. Partner with IT, Data Strategy, Records, Research, and practice stakeholders on taxonomy, document profiling, source control, and knowledge architecture. Collaborate with Practice Innovation leadership to identify high-value knowledge needs, set priorities, and ensure adoption and enablement through usable KM resources and training. Design workflows and criteria for AI-enabled legal workspace, search, and matter-management tools, and measure progress with practical metrics. The role requires building operating models, governance structures, and collaboration across cross-functional teams, with a hybrid work environment in Dallas, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, technology, or JD preferred.
