Job Summary
Own end-to-end administration of internal technology, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, and AI tools like Cursor and ChatGPT. Manage onboarding and offboarding across multiple entities, provision access securely, and oversee vendor subscriptions to drive consolidation. Establish identity and access management standards, enforce credential hygiene, and define role-based access controls for the proprietary platform. Lead security baselines covering MFA, SSO, endpoint protection, and cyber threat defense while maintaining office network integrity and corporate domain trust. Build automation to reduce manual work and establish practical policies that scale with a fast-moving start-up.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years in IT, systems administration, or IT operations
- 3+ years owning IT end to end at a growing company
- Deep hands-on administration experience across the modern SaaS stack: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack
- A working command of security fundamentals across identity, network, endpoints, and access
- Enough command of DNS and email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to keep corporate domains trusted and their accounts secure

- Experience with MDM and endpoint management (e.g., Intune, Jamf)
- Exposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks, and what it takes to get an organization ready for them
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, CompTIA, security)
