Job Summary
Architect and execute a multi-year enterprise PLM strategy that aligns with business growth, digital transformation goals, and regulatory requirements. Act as the primary liaison between Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and IT to align stakeholders into a unified digital thread strategy. Drive integration of PLM with adjacent systems like ERP, MES, and CAD to ensure seamless data flow, while managing the program budget, resource allocation, and vendor relationships. Lead comprehensive organizational change management efforts to ensure high adoption rates during system deployments and continuously evaluate engineering and manufacturing business processes across sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in product lifecycle management
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership/director-level role
- Deep experience working within large medical device organizations or complex discrete manufacturing environments
- Proven history of successfully leading at least one major, enterprise-wide PLM tool implementation or upgrade from inception through hyper-care
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate with, and build consensus among executive-level business and IT leaders
- Strong understanding of medical device regulations or complex manufacturing quality standards (FDA, ISO, GMP)
- Solid understanding of PLM architecture, data modeling, CAD integration, configuration management, and enterprise system integration methodologies
- Proficiency in modern project management methodologies (Agile, SAFe, or PMP) to manage complex, multi-phase software rollouts
- Current proof of vaccination against certain diseases including COVID-19
