Job Summary
Director of IT at Beaverton, MI site overseeing IT strategy, operations, and business systems in a manufacturing environment. Primary owner of Epicor ERP, with leadership of enterprise technology projects, disaster recovery and continuity planning, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and end-user support. Responsibilities include ERP administration, QuickBase development, vendor management, budgeting, IT policy/documentation, service management, and cross-functional collaboration with business leaders to drive operational excellence. Limited travel to other plant locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field; equivalent 10+ years’ experience considered
- 7+ years of progressive IT experience with leadership responsibility in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with Epicor ERP in a manufacturing setting (installation, support, optimization)
- Experience installing and managing relational databases; knowledge of SQL, Oracle, MySQL; familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, VMware; experience with backup/recovery and storage
- Strong knowledge of software licensing and maintenance; strong knowledge of application and network security and firewall management
- Understanding of business processes and ability to collaborate with process owners to develop solutions
- Project management experience; excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Legal ability to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available
