Job Summary
Lead planning, execution, and management of ISP construction projects across multiple data-center clients, overseeing all aspects of structured cabling, installation, and commissioning operations. Manage and mentor field teams including technicians, foremen, and site supervisors while driving accountability for project schedules, budgets, and quality assurance standards. Serve as the primary customer liaison for hyperscale and enterprise clients, ensuring responsiveness and satisfaction. Oversee material procurement, resource allocation, and workforce scheduling, ensuring compliance with data-center operational protocols, safety policies, and security requirements. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for ISP deployment, testing, and documentation. Track and report division performance including revenue, margins, backlog, and forecast metrics. Partner with cross-functional leaders to align execution with company objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in ISP / structured-cabling leadership within data-center environments
- Proven experience handling P&L of $75-$150mm
- Proven ability to lead field teams in large-scale fiber, copper, and power infrastructure deployments
- Strong knowledge of BICSI, ANSI/TIA, and NFPA standards
- Experience managing client relationships with hyperscalers, colocation providers, or major data-center builders
- Deep understanding of data-center infrastructure architecture—including fiber plant design, containment systems, rack/power layouts, and testing protocols
- Proficiency in project tracking tools (SiteTracker, Procore, or equivalent)
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- BICSI RCDD or equivalent certifications
- OSHA 30 required (or ability to obtain within 30-45 days of hiring)
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
