Job Summary
Lead and evolve RingCentral's global internal audit function as Director of Internal Audit. Oversee the end-to-end global SOX program, execute high-impact operational and strategic audits, and co-lead the integration of AI and advanced data analytics into audit methodology. Provide risk-based annual planning, serve as strategic advisor on risk and controls to executive leadership and the Audit Committee, conduct confidential investigations as needed, and mentor a geographically dispersed audit team. Drive governance, cross-functional partnership, and compelling board reporting while leveraging AI, data analytics, and modern auditing tools to improve efficiency and insight.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive experience in Internal Audit, SOX compliance, or risk management within a large, multinational public tech company
- Big 4 Public Accounting experience at a senior managerial level is required
- Certifications: CPA/CA/ CIA is required
- AI & Data Literacy: Proficient in using AI and automation software to automate audit procedures and analyze massive datasets
- Tech Stack: Deep familiarity with cloud-based ERPs (NetSuite/Workday) and audit management platforms such as Workiva/AuditBoard
- Knowledge of US GAAP, the COSO/COBIT frameworks and PCAOB standards
- Communication: Exceptional ability to influence stakeholders and simplify complex regulatory requirements for non-finance audiences
