Job Summary

Director of Integrated Health Services oversees program oversight and strategic leadership for team-based primary health care programs at Sandy Hill Community Health Centre. The role partners with the Senior Leadership Team to align programs, resources and operations with community needs, health equity principles, and organizational goals; ensures licensing/regulatory requirements are met; drives program and service excellence and fosters partnerships to deliver integrated, client-centered services. The position requires a Master’s degree in health administration or a comparable field, clinical background in medicine/nursing/health promotion, advanced French language proficiency (oral), and fluent English; it demands proven leadership in a team-based primary care environment, experience managing multidisciplinary teams, and strong capabilities in health equity, quality improvement, program evaluation, stakeholder relations, and change management.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in health administration or a comparable field
  • A clinical background in medicine, nursing or health promotion or a related field
  • French (oral expression): Advanced
  • French (oral comprehension): Advanced
  • French (reading comprehension): Intermediate +
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written
  • Proven experience as a leader in a team based primary care environment
  • Five years’ experience in managerial and progressive leadership roles in a health environment
  • Experience in managing and working with primary care and multi-disciplinary teams, including medical and allied health professionals
  • Experience managing programs and services for people with complex health and social needs
  • Demonstrated leadership, management and supervisory skills
  • Deep understanding of health equity, the social determinants of health, health promotion and community development
  • Knowledge of quality improvement and program evaluation methodology
  • Strong administrative, organizational and analytical skills
  • A collaborative approach to problem solving and change management
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated skills in partnership development and relationship development with parties with vested interests
  • A commitment to community based, interdisciplinary, coordinated and integrated services
  • Ability to translate vision to action, strategy to operations
  • Leadership skills in equity, diversity and inclusion
  • Demonstrated ability to manage fiscal resources
  • Client engagement and co-design skills
  • Understanding of, and commitment to client-centered and harm reduction frameworks for service provision
