Director of Institutional Partnerships & Development

Lead the Development Department by identifying funding opportunities, coordinating government funding efforts, and implementing annual fundraising strategies aligned with organizational priorities. Manage a portfolio of foundation and corporate funders while researching, writing, and coordinating grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and sponsorship requests. Support donor cultivation, stewardship, and relationship-building efforts to increase philanthropic investment, including conducting prospect research and preparing briefing materials for donor meetings. Provide leadership, supervision, and performance management to grant writers, interns, and consultants, ensuring accurate maintenance of donor data and development records. Establish systems and processes to improve fundraising effectiveness and support the Chief Development Officer and Board of Directors in strategic initiatives.
