Job Summary
Design and enforce standardized maintenance systems across all organizational locations, consolidating vendor relationships for HVAC, mowing, and snow removal while negotiating contracts and establishing performance metrics. Develop multi-year capital infrastructure plans, track equipment lifecycles, and manage maintenance budgets within defined thresholds. Lead centralized prioritization of work for Facilities Technicians and outside vendors, providing technical leadership for construction projects and hands-on troubleshooting for complex issues. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards while maintaining presence during critical incidents. Requires strong systems-thinking, financial acumen, and ability to travel between sites; competitive salary and benefits package available.
Required Qualifications
- Strong systems-thinking and process design capabilities
- Ability to manage and prioritize work across multiple locations
- Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and performance oversight
- Financial acumen related to budgeting and capital planning
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational support
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of facilities management, infrastructure systems, or building operations
- Microsoft Office Software
- HVAC
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in facilities, maintenance, or infrastructure leadership, including multi-site environments
- Ability to perform considerable time sitting and reaching
- Ability to lift at least 60 pounds and work as projects require
- Ability to work around and on ladders as projects require
- Regular travel between physical locations/sites required
- Ability to perform prolonged periods of time in front of a computer
- Ability to occasionally walk facilities, inspect physical environments, and engage with on-site work conditions
