Job Summary
Director of Individual Giving at Outright International responsible for leading and growing the organization's individual giving program. Own day-to-day operations, manage external and internal partnerships, and scale revenue through donor acquisition, retention, stewardship, and upgrading via email, direct mail, and other pathways. Lead coordination between Development and Communications, oversee the Senior Manager, Development Systems and Development Assistant, and drive HubSpot data management, segmentation, and donor journey optimization. Collaborate on strategy, analytics, and reporting to improve donor trends and performance; implement process improvements and automation to reduce manual workload. NYC metro preferred; candidacies from elsewhere in the US are welcome; salary is location-based.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in individual giving, direct response fundraising, or annual fund management
- Experience managing external agency or vendor relationships
- Proficiency with DonorPerfect, FundraiseUp, HubSpot or a comparable CRM
- Working knowledge of direct mail best practices
- Experience developing or managing email fundraising programs
- Strong project management skills
- Comfort with data and reporting
- Experience managing staff or direct reports preferred
- Deep commitment and passion for LGBTIQ advocacy on a global level
- Experience working with or for global and/or Global South organizations is a strong plus
