Job Summary

Acquire, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors to achieve annual fundraising goals, focusing on four- and five-figure gifts. Develop and implement an individual fundraising strategy leveraging Board and organizational relationships. Manage year-round donor cultivation to increase new donor numbers, retention, and upgrade gift amounts. Create compelling appeals via direct mail, email, and digital campaigns in partnership with Marketing. Build an individual volunteer program and recommend new Junior Board members. Maintain accurate records of donor touchpoints in Raiser's Edge and provide monthly progress reports. Work with the DER team to strategically manage the donor portfolio while balancing long-term cultivation with short-term revenue targets.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in non-profit fundraising
  • Experience securing four- and five-figure gifts
  • Experience upgrading entry-level donations
  • Experience designing and implementing individual giving strategies
  • Experience building and managing a portfolio of donors
  • Experience building and managing a portfolio of family foundations
  • Experience with Raiser's Edge or a comparable fundraising database
  • Willingness and ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
