DIRECTOR OF INDIRECT LENDING

Job Summary
Establish standard program management frameworks, define underwriting guidelines, and oversee Credit Buyers and Dealer Relationship Specialists to ensure seamless dealership experiences. Manage the indirect lending portfolio by monitoring delinquency, default rates, and charge-offs while implementing corrective underwriting adjustments. Develop dealership relationships to expand the lending footprint, optimize yields, and achieve volume targets through field engagement, spending at least 20% of time traveling within the metro area, state, and out of state. Ensure strict compliance with federal and state regulations including Fair Lending, TILA, and ECOA while reporting program progress and risks to executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Seven (7) years of applicable experience
- At least four (4) years in a managerial capacity
- Documented history of managing a substantial indirect loan portfolio
- Prior experience working directly with, or pitching programs to, Finance and Insurance (F & I) managers and dealer group principals
- Prior underwriting experience
- Must be willing and able to drive on company business
- Maintain a valid Driver's License
- Adhere to Sandia Area's Driving Policy
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. as needed
