Job Summary
Lead, develop, and support a 4-person HR team serving ~350 employees across 26 states; own the HR Strategic Plan, define initiatives, manage the HR budget, and oversee full-cycle HR functions including payroll, benefits, recruiting, employee relations, compliance, and training. Partner with senior leadership to drive workforce analytics (FTE counts, turnover, and trends) and ensure consistent, compliant practices across locations. This exempt, salaried role supports remote or hybrid work for those within 45 miles of the Bloomington, MN home office with occasional local/national travel (4–6 onsite meetings/events annually).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- at least 8 years of HR experience, including 5+ years at a management level
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification highly preferred
- Strong working knowledge of employment law (MN PSSL, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and more)
- Experience supporting a remote workforce preferred
- Experience working with multi-state payroll preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRIS/payroll software
