Job Summary
Director of Human Resources responsible for leading HR operations across RTS campuses, advising executive leadership on workforce planning, policy adherence, and organizational change initiatives. Role covers employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, HR systems management (including Paylocity), talent management, onboarding, performance management, and recruitment for staff and faculty. Requires strategic guidance, policy development, compliance with federal/state/local employment laws, and coordination with Finance and IT to ensure consistent HR processes across multiple campuses. Must partner with campus leaders to align enterprise HR policies with organizational goals and consistently drive employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with leadership responsibility
- Strong knowledge of employment law and organizational change
- Prior experience managing HRIS systems; Paylocity experience preferred
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive situations clearly and professionally
