Job Summary
Lead the senior HR team by translating business strategy into actionable workforce plans, performance systems, and retention initiatives while advising the General Manager on people risk and organizational capability. Oversee payroll, benefits, leave administration, and HRIS operations with direct backup coverage during absences or urgent situations, ensuring compliance across investigations, discipline, and multi-shift manufacturing environments. Build scalable recruiting pipelines, develop leadership programs, and standardize policies through active collaboration with Enterprise HR and Finance. Maintain regular visibility throughout the office, warehouse, and distribution areas to support employees across multiple shifts, balancing strategic governance with hands-on operational execution.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum seven years of progressive human resources experience
- at least three years of HR leadership
- demonstrated experience supporting a multi-shift manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, or a related field
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or an equivalent recognized HR certification
- Senior-level HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR
- Experience supporting warehouse, distribution, printing, packaging, or related industrial operations
- Broad working experience across employee relations, recruiting, payroll, benefits, leave, compliance, compensation, performance management, HRIS, and organizational development
- Demonstrated experience building or materially improving HR systems, teams, processes, and operating practices
- Experience operating within a multi-business enterprise or matrixed HR structure
- Direct experience with Rippling
- Ability to operate as a strategic senior leader while remaining willing and capable of completing detailed HR work
- Proven ability to lead and develop an HR team, build structure, clarify accountability, and deliver reliable results
- Strong judgment, confidentiality, integrity, responsiveness, and follow-through
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous-improvement capability
- Ability to prioritize, delegate, follow up, and manage multiple competing demands

- Willingness to spend meaningful time throughout the operation rather than leading primarily from an office
- Regular presence throughout the office, manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution areas
- Occasional evening, after-hours, or weekend engagement
- The position must be able to access and navigate all relevant areas of the facility
