Job Summary
Partner with the site General Manager to establish a strategic roadmap for employee engagement, development, safety, and retention. Oversee the HR function for a 500-employee manufacturing facility, managing recruiting, onboarding, development, pay administration, employee relations, and engagement. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legislation including EEO, FMLA, and FLSA. Generate metrics to inform business results and drive continuous improvement in people-related areas. Lead the HR team and represent the facility in corporate meetings to implement company-wide initiatives. Bachelor's degree and eight years of HR experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8 Years of experience in Human Resources
- some prior management experience
- Leading Human Resources strategy, planning, directing, and goal setting of a division
- Experience leading and directing the work of other employees and personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and disciplinary processes
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
