Job Summary
Develop and execute a human resources strategy aligned with organizational goals, leading a team across talent acquisition, employee relations, and training and development. Own talent acquisition, including provider recruitment, and manage succession planning, performance management, and the employee experience through engagement surveys and culture initiatives. Direct complex employee relations investigations, oversee merit administration and job architecture, and partner with Finance on benefits strategy and cost efficiency. Ensure personnel policies comply with federal, state, and local laws while reporting workforce metrics to executive leadership and the Board. Serve as primary liaison with employment counsel and government agencies, maintaining strict confidentiality on sensitive matters. Fully onsite with regular in-person attendance at Gracelight Community Health locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Eight (8) or more years of progressively responsible human resources experience
- At least five (5) years leading a human resources function or team
- Significant California employee relations experience
- Experience with investigations
- Experience with corrective action
- Experience with leaves of absence
- Experience with wage and hour compliance
- Must satisfactorily complete a background check
- TB clearance
- Immunizations
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification
- Healthcare experience
- Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or community health experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
