Job Summary
Directly supervise the Human Resources team, establishing department goals, managing budgets, and ensuring continuity through cross-training and succession planning. Develop and execute HR strategy while partnering with executive leadership to improve organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. Oversee recruiting, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and payroll administration across New Mexico, Arizona, and Colorado. Conduct investigations into complaints and misconduct, coach leaders on performance evaluations, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Manage HRIS platforms and leverage analytics to measure turnover, retention, and recruiting effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field
- Minimum seven years of progressive HR leadership experience
- Minimum three years supervising HR professionals
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel to company locations throughout New Mexico, Arizona, and Colorado
- Ability to work in automotive service environments including noise, odors, and varying weather conditions during site visits
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or PHR certification
- Experience support multi-location organizations with 300+ employees
- Experience in retail, automotive, hospitality, restaurant, healthcare, or other multi-unit service industries
