Job Summary
Director of HR role overseeing HR leadership, policy development, compensation/benefits program ownership, training, and regulatory compliance for a US/Canada IT services company. Responsibilities include partnering with senior leadership to define and execute people strategies, leading recruitment and retention, managing benefits/401k/RRSP administration, implementing HR policies and training plans, driving performance reviews and stay/interviews, ensuring legal compliance (DOL/BOLI/FLSA in US and provincial standards in Canada), handling employee relations and investigations, and guiding HR operations with an emphasis on culture and cross-department collaboration. The position requires hybrid work with travel 5-10%, and 3 days in-office on average, in Milwaukie, OR area.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years’ HR experience in a generalist environment
- 2+ years in a leadership capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field
- HR certifications such as PHR, SHRM-CP, CHRP, CHRL, CHRE, or CPHR
- Functional understanding of financial statements and the impacts/drivers of finances
