Job Summary
Lead housekeeping operations for a luxury hotel property, driving cleanliness and guest satisfaction while managing a diverse team of housekeeping staff. Align with the Director of Rooms to optimize hotel operations, ensure consistent high standards across guest rooms, public spaces, offices, and banquet/meeting areas, and contribute to the department’s financial performance. Requires at least three years of luxury-hotel housekeeping leadership, proficiency with Opera and Alice (or similar systems), and strong leadership/communication skills. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to multitask and coach staff to uphold luxury standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years’ prior experience as a housekeeping department leader for a luxury hotel
- Proficient in utilizing technology and systems to enhance housekeeping procedures (preferable experience with Opera and Alice)
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and occasional holidays
- Experience training team members on luxury standards and coaching through new operational procedures
