Job Summary
Develop operational plans and procedures for hospitality staff, defining roles and distributing tasks to ensure maximum efficiency. Provide general oversight of team performance, monitoring workflows to verify service levels meet quality standards and ensuring adherence to approved processes. Evaluate cleanliness of food and beverage preparation areas for full compliance with hygiene, safety, and relevant standards. Oversee technical reports on operational challenges, propose solutions, and recommend corrective actions while reviewing raw material inventory levels to prevent shortages. Requires 15+ years of experience managing large-scale operations with deep knowledge of Hajj and Umrah cycles. Located in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in hospitality operations within the relevant functional scope
- Proven track record in managing large-scale hospitality operations with multiple properties or high-capacity facilities
- Strong knowledge of Hajj and Umrah operational cycles, seasonal demand fluctuations, and crowd management logistics
- Experience in leading and developing multicultural teams in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Expertise in quality assurance and continuous improvement methodologies within food and beverage services
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations (HACCP, ISO, or equivalent certifications)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers
- Proficiency in hospitality management systems and ERP software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Micros, or similar)
