Job Summary

Lead the heart failure and transplantation program, overseeing clinical care, research, and education while managing a multidisciplinary team of physicians, surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals. Develop and implement clinical protocols, guidelines, and standards of care for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. Drive program growth by expanding patient access and service offerings, while engaging in ongoing research activities to advance the field. Recruit, train, and mentor medical staff and trainees, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Act as a liaison between the program, other departments, external partners, and regulatory bodies. Conduct regular performance evaluations of medical staff to provide feedback and development opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification in cardiology, with a focus on heart failure and transplantation
