Job Summary
Director of Healthcare Nursing role leading Memory Care with RN/LPN licensed team; oversees all nursing operations, medication administration/EMAR, supervision of nurses and caregivers, care planning, resident assessments, regulatory compliance, infection control, and monthly reporting within a memory-care community. Requires active RN or LPN license in-state, 3+ years in Memory Care/Long-Term Care, supervisory experience, strong EHR/EMAR proficiency, valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally, and flexibility for evenings/weekends. Collaboration with leadership, participation in MOD weekend rotation, and engagement in quality assurance and HIPAA/compliance practices.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of employment (RN preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Memory Care, Assisted Living, or Long-Term Care
- Supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong clinical judgment for independent decision-making in routine and emergency situations
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR/EMR) and medication management systems
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel locally on a monthly basis
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied hours as needed
