Job Summary
Director of Healthcare responsible for nursing care of residents, medication administration and charting (MARs/EMARs), ensuring resident safety and infection control, coordinating and supervising home healthcare and hospice services, maintaining accurate documentation, and leading a care-team focused on resident welfare. Responsibilities include staffing, budgeting, training, conducting care conferences, reporting to regional leadership, and ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality resident care.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Professional Nursing Program
- Licensed to practice as a registered or licensed nurse (RN license preferred)
- Minimum of three years' experience in Memory Care
- Supervisory or leadership experience strongly desired
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and flexible hours
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to read/write and interpret safety procedures and manuals
- Excellent communication skills
- Monthly local travel and occasional out-of-town travel
