Job Summary
Oversee clinical operations for Assisted Living and/or Memory Care communities, ensuring regulatory compliance and exceptional resident care. Lead nursing staff, medication technicians, and caregivers while supervising nurse delegation, resident assessments, and competency validation. Manage infection prevention, medication administration systems, and emergency preparedness planning, serving as the clinical leader during critical incidents. Conduct performance evaluations, provide ongoing education, and collaborate with departments like dining and maintenance to support community operations. Communicate resident condition changes promptly and address family concerns professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in the State of practice
- CPR/BLS certification
- Thorough understanding of state regulations governing Assisted Living and Memory Care communities
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
- Proficient with electronic health records and Microsoft Office
- Experience supervising clinical teams
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of nursing leadership experience preferred
- Experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, or Geriatric Care preferred
- Experience with dementia care and memory support programming
- Knowledge of infection prevention and quality improvement initiatives
