Job Summary
Director of Health & Safety overseeing safety programs, OSHA/Life Safety compliance, training development and delivery, safety inspections, and metrics reporting for Lifesteps' health-and-safety initiatives; role requires leading the Health and Safety function with a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health (or related field) and 2+ years of leadership experience, plus healthcare/human-services exposure and travel to sites in western Pennsylvania.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health (or related field) OR equivalent combination of education/certifications and experience
- Two (2) years of prior experience leading the Health and Safety function
- Prior experience in Healthcare, Long-term Care, Public Health or Human Services
- Knowledge of OSHA industry specific standards
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Valid Driver’s License and Automobile Insurance
- Ability to travel independently to assigned locations
- Ability to provide acceptable clearances
- Full-Time Scheduling: 8am-4:30pm M-F, occasional travel throughout western Pennsylvania
