Maintain department productivity through staff management, including hiring, development, training, and performance reviews. Oversee data collection, storage, retrieval, and analysis for research, process improvement, and mandatory reporting. Work with physicians and coding staff to improve documentation quality and ensure accurate reimbursement. Audit records for compliance, track key indicators, and serve as the facility Privacy Officer. Collaborate with legal counsel and transcription vendors to guarantee accurate medical record completion and closure.
