Job Summary
Director of Growth leading digital growth for a fast-moving e-commerce business. Own the digital P&L, manage a 50-person distributed team across US and international offices, and lead early-stage creative testing, offer design, and post-purchase flows before shifting to orchestration. Build and execute a structured testing program across Meta and Google to drive new-customer acquisition and move toward first-purchase profitability within 12 months. Scale paid spend from about $10M to $15–20M annually while maintaining guardrails around ROAS and CAC. Improve funnel conversion, AOV, and retention through landing-page optimization, checkout improvements, and post-purchase email/SMS flows. Integrate AI into creative production, analytics, and campaign workflows with hands-on experimentation. The role requires ownership of CAC, LTV, MER, contribution margin, and capital allocation, and leadership of a distributed team across time zones. Strong emphasis on data-driven decision making, accountability, and a mission-aligned approach that connects commercial growth with a giving program.
Required Qualifications
- D2C e-commerce experience selling physical consumer products at $10M+ revenue, familiar with Shopify or comparable, Klaviyo, and Attentive or similar
- Managed Meta at $5M+ annual spend (or $1–5M with a clear track record of improving acquisition economics)
- Owned email, SMS, and/or affiliate programs
- P&L ownership at the channel or growth function level with CPA and contribution margin accountability
- Owned on-site conversion optimization with a structured A/B testing program
- Has hired, managed performance, and managed out underperformers
- Sold physical consumer products D2C to a female-skewing audience with experience in creative strategy and offer design
- Demonstrated AI experimentation in creative production, analytics, or campaign workflows
