Job Summary
Develop and execute an integrated business development and marketing strategy aligned with Chinook's strategic plan across all Lines of Business. Define priority markets, agencies, and strategic accounts while establishing annual pipeline and revenue growth targets. Lead outward-facing activities to identify and qualify new opportunities in public and private sectors, developing executive-level relationships with agency leaders and facility owners. Oversee marketing strategy to strengthen market visibility, lead capture strategy development for major pursuits, and establish competitive positioning. Coordinate weekly pipeline reviews, ensure CRM opportunities are current, and maintain disciplined governance for growth activities. Lead the Growth Organization, providing strategic direction and performance oversight for marketing and proposal resources. Work a hybrid schedule with up to 50% travel, including the ability to visit construction sites in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, General Contracting, Engineering, or related field
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in business development, capture management, or growth leadership supporting public sector clients (federal, state, local)
- Demonstrated success developing pipelines and winning public contracts including GSA Schedules, IDIQs, MATOCs, and set asides, with a strong understanding of Federal planning and procurement lifecycles and FAR/DFARS compliance requirements
- Experience selling Maintenance, Repairs and Services, Construction Procurement and Installation, and Engineering services for mission critical HVAC, electrical, controls and cybersecurity CONUS and OCONUS
- Experience leveraging CRM, pipeline management, and market intelligence platforms
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project, PowerPoint)
- Valid State Issued Driver's License
- Ability to travel to various customer sites
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain up to a Top Secret clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
- An Active Secret or higher Security Clearance
- Experience in Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC), facilities, energy, or mission-critical infrastructure markets
- Existing relationships within federal agencies
