Job Summary
Director of Groups & Events leads strategic and operational planning for group experiences and bespoke events across the Amangiri resort ecosystem. Oversees event strategies from inquiry to execution, develops client relationships, manages vendor partnerships, budgets, and risk assessments, and ensures seamless collaboration with sales, F&B, and executive leadership. Responsible for pipeline management, site visits, client walkthroughs, billing and post-event reconciliation, and driving revenue while supervising the Events & Groups team and coordinating with multiple department heads to meet Aman standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in event or group sales leadership in luxury hospitality
- Proven success in team leadership and cross-departmental coordination
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PMS systems, and BEO platforms
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive onsite
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
