Job Summary
Director of Grants and Strategic Funding leads the organization’s institutional fundraising strategy, manages the grants lifecycle from prospect research through award management and renewals, and oversees compliance, reporting, and dashboards. Collaborates with executive leadership, program leadership, and finance to align funding opportunities with priorities, cultivate relationships with government agencies, foundations, and corporate funders, and drive sustainable revenue growth. Responsible for developing grant proposals, maintaining dashboards and calendars, ensuring grant compliance, and providing executive-level reporting on funding performance and pipeline.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, nonprofit management, communications, business administration, English, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in grant development, institutional fundraising, or nonprofit resource development.
- Demonstrated success securing, managing, and stewarding government, foundation, and corporate grants.
