Director of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)

Define and maintain a unified GRC strategy aligned with Inkit's business goals and growth trajectory. Evaluate, select, and operationalize compliance frameworks and controls for both commercial and government requirements, including SOC 2, ISO, FedRAMP, and NIST standards. Own and operate the Vanta compliance platform, managing controls implementation, automated evidence collection, and audit readiness. Lead enterprise risk assessments, establish governance policies, and partner with engineering, product, legal, and security teams to ensure consistent control execution. Serve as the primary liaison for internal executives and external auditors, translating complex compliance topics into clear insights while delivering regular risk reporting to leadership. Prepare for internal and external audits, coordinating evidence requests and remediation activities. This role supports Inkit's mission to safeguard the world's data through its trusted File Intelligence Platform, which holds DoD Impact Level 4 and 5 certifications.
