Job Summary
Direct all daily golf operations, including the Golf Shop, cart services, practice facilities, and tournament execution. Lead member engagement by fostering a service-focused atmosphere, soliciting feedback, and upholding traditions while managing revenue, budgeting, and inventory. Oversee staff recruitment, training, and development across all golf personnel. Collaborate with the Superintendent on course planning and capital improvements, and serve as the primary liaison to the Golf & Grounds Committee and Board of Governors. Support strategic initiatives and long-term vision for the Club's golf program.
Required Qualifications
- Class A PGA Professional in good standing
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive golf leadership experience
- Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong financial and business management capabilities
- Proven ability to build relationships with members, staff, and leadership
- Proficiency with golf management software and technology platforms
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a private club environment
- Director of Golf or Head Golf Professional experience at a premier private club
- Experience working with Board and Committee governance structures
- Experience managing significant tournaments and member programming
- Certified Professional designation or additional PGA certifications
