Job Summary
Director of Global Logistics: lead global transportation strategy and network optimization across air, ocean, parcel, LTL, FTL, and intermodal; build routing guides and optimization frameworks; negotiate with global carriers and manage RFPs/ contracts; develop landed-cost models in collaboration with Finance and Planning; own freight audit/payments, financial controls, and cost governance; lead data-driven performance analytics, KPI dashboards, and digital transportation capabilities (TMS/visibility); supervise and develop the Sr. Manager of NA Logistics and logistics analysts; travel globally; 15+ years of leadership in logistics and 10+ years leading cross‐functional teams; Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Master’s preferred) with certifications (ASCM/CLTD/CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, IATA/FIATA); strong analytical and financial skills with a proven track record of cost reductions; eligible to work in the United States; relocation not offered.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of global transportation and logistics leadership experience
- 10+ years managing regional or cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field
- Strong analytical and financial skills, including cost modeling and logistics P&L understanding
- Proven track record of achieving logistics cost reductions and operational improvements
- Ability to travel globally 10–30%
- Experience in multi‐mode transportation, carrier negotiations, and freight procurement
- ASCM/CLTD/CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, IATA/FIATA, or similar certifications (preferred)
- Experience using freight audit/payment platforms and transportation analytics tools
- Background in high‐tech, industrial, or regulated manufacturing
- Eligibility to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not offered
