Job Summary
Act as Technical Lead/Project Manager for geotechnical projects, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and oversight to the Geotechnical Services Group. Serve as Senior Engineer on large and complex projects, managing client relations and monitoring work for compliance with schedule, budget, and technical correctness. Lead business development activities including proposal preparation, fee estimates, contract negotiations, and pre-marketing to expand client relationships. Evaluate assigned staff, fulfill staffing needs, and meet initial utilization goals of 60%. Assist with annual budget preparation, compile monthly revenue projections, and advise on industry standards, policies, and codes of practice. Full-time role with flexible hybrid/remote arrangements and 40-hour weeks. Competitive base pay of $160K–$175K plus incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Ten (10) years of professional experience
- Currently Registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Eligible for licensure in other States including Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey
- Previous experience as Project Manager
- Working knowledge of geotechnical design software including Slide, L-Pile, GRL WEAP, SNAP_2, CRSP, Dips and gINT
- Valid Driver's license
- Travel and occasional overnight stays
