Job Summary
Leads revenue management and inventory strategy for function space in a Marriott hotel, directing a Function Space Management team to optimize use of property function space and drive maximum group occupancy. Communicates function space strategy with Group Strategy partners and Sales Managers, and ensures revenue and profitability by analyzing displacement and appropriate price-point strategies. Creates solutions for bookings with space constraints, collaborates with Sales and Events/Conference Services to optimize function-space usage, and monitors utilization and occupancy trends to meet annual goals.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years experience in the revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
- 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in the revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
