Job Summary
The Director of Franchise Development at A&W Restaurants, Inc. is responsible for building a candidate pipeline for new store sales and facilitating the resell process between existing franchisees and new candidates. This full-time position encompasses managing the franchise sales pipeline, representing the brand at industry events, and developing franchise sales strategies.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of experience in franchise sales with a proven track record of achieving growth
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Franconnect, Hubspot)
- Proven track record of successful sales, exceeding quotas, working independently, and as a team
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in franchise sales and/or development with mature brands in the restaurant industry
- Knowledge of franchise development processes, legal considerations, and franchisee qualification standards
- Experience in the Quick Service Restaurant industry
- Knowledge of franchise finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles
