Job Summary
Drive and oversee budget strategy, planning, and forecasting while aggregating, reviewing, and analyzing financial and statistical data to support management decisions. Manage all aspects of fundamental financial planning and analysis, including expense monitoring, report generation, and variance analyses for monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles. Lead a team of financial professionals, coaching them to achieve standards and enhance the preparation and presentation of deliverables. Present divisional budgets and presentation materials to the Senior Leadership Team for routine updates and approval. Collaborate with HE&R senior leadership to identify revenue growth opportunities, cost reduction strategies, and performance improvements. Optimize finance procedures through automation, standardization, and documentation. This role supports Hershey Entertainment & Resorts' mission to uphold the legacy of Milton S. Hershey across properties including Hersheypark and The Hotel Hershey.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years of related Hospitality/Tourism experience
- Minimum of 6 years of supervisory experience
- 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Bachelor's degree - Business Administration, Finance, Hospitality Management
- Comprehensive knowledge/experience working with advanced functions of Excel and Google Sheets, as well as other Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications, including data warehouse and SQL
- Demonstrated ability as a leader and team developer
- Able to forge strong working relationships across functions
- Excellent analytical skills
- Detail oriented and organized
- Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
