Job Summary
Own budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting for the assigned area, translating company objectives into actionable operating plans and measurable financial targets. Lead investment evaluation and prioritization, sharpening the rigor of business cases supporting proposed spend while defining KPIs and reporting structures. Partner with business leaders to challenge assumptions, shape decisions, and drive accountability, serving as a trusted advisor through scenario analysis and resource allocation recommendations. Identify risks and opportunities, drive their resolution, and implement finance tools, automation, and process improvements to enhance analytical depth and efficiency. Own board and sponsor reporting, support audit readiness, and establish standards for AI-enabled planning and analytical capabilities. Develop managers and analysts to raise the standard of analytical rigor and communication.
Required Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- Ten to fifteen years of experience in finance
- Several years in FP&A leadership
- Prior team leadership
- Board or sponsor exposure
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Experience with EPM and BI platforms
- Ability to travel approximately up to 30% of the time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 15-20 pounds
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as personal computer, laptop, telephone, photocopy machine, etc.
- Timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification of California based applicants
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or CPA
- Experience within a private equity-backed organization
- Experience in home care or multi-site healthcare services
- Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning
- Experience using AI-enabled productivity, reporting, or analytical tools
