Job Summary
Lead the FP&A team in developing annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans while analyzing operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Prepare monthly reporting packages with variance analysis and KPIs for the executive team, create presentations for stakeholders, and drive the implementation of FP&A tools to enhance reporting efficiency. Manage and mentor a team of FP&A professionals, foster continuous improvement, and collaborate across departments to align on financial goals. Support ad-hoc projects and analyses as needed to drive strategic insights and company growth. This role reports directly to the Vice President of FP&A within a studio-to-street lifestyle brand focused on mindful movement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Proven ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to senior management and stakeholders
- Highly proficient in Excel with ability to maintain and update complex financial modeling and KIPI trackers and quickly build detailed models from scratch
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Desired Qualifications
- MBA
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
- Experience with advanced Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Skilled in use of forecasting software
- Prior experience with Anaplan
- Experience in the retail or fashion industry
