Director of Foundation Relations

The Director of Foundation Relations will own the full arc of foundation fundraising for Crisis Text Line, from prospect identification and cultivation to proposal development, solicitation, and stewardship. You’ll manage the Senior Grants Manager and collaborate with the CEO, senior leadership, and finance/program staff to execute an institutional giving strategy, build and maintain a pipeline of 5-7+ figure gifts, oversee grant writing and reporting, and drive moves management across the portfolio. You’ll cultivate and steward funder relationships with program officers and trustees, develop engaging, mission-driven content (including letters of inquiry, full proposals, and stewardship communications), and ensure timely submissions. The role requires coordinating internal stakeholders across program, finance, and leadership teams, maintaining rigorous documentation in systems like Salesforce, and presenting clear pipeline health and revenue projections to leadership. Strong writing, relationship-building, cross-functional collaboration, and project-management skills are essential, as is the ability to operate effectively in a remote setting while representing Crisis Text Line to foundation partners.
