Job Summary
Plan, develop, and implement foundation giving and government grants strategies to achieve fundraising goals across Area Command. Direct the selection, training, and supervision of staff responsible for foundation giving and grants, while monitoring compliance with established policies and conducting performance evaluations. Cultivate relationships with foundation representatives and government entities to secure funding, manage donor records, and oversee proposal preparation and reporting. Lead the Grants Coordinator and Specialists in maintaining active cultivation calendars and ensuring timely grant reporting and invoicing. Accompany senior leadership on visits with foundations and collaborate with the Community Relations Department to maximize donor engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field
- Seven years of successful foundation and fundraising experience
- Valid Texas Drivers License
- Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively
- Ability to travel to various locations in order to participate in meetings, institutional events, etc.
- Ability and willingness to conduct all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles
- Ability to meet attendance requirements
