Job Summary
Oversee all private foundation and government fundraising activities across Area Command by developing fund development programs, strengthening donor relationships, and securing funding from government entities. Direct staff responsible for foundation giving and grants, providing training, monitoring compliance, and conducting performance evaluations to ensure programmatic accountability. Lead the cultivation of foundation representatives and government entities, manage donor profiles in the management system, and prepare proposals and applications while ensuring timely grant reporting and invoicing. Develop and monitor strategic plans to achieve fundraising goals, create active grants calendars, and collaborate with programs teams to identify budget relieving funding opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field
- Seven years of successful foundation and fundraising experience
- Valid Texas Drivers License
- Ability to meet attendance requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively
- Ability to travel to various locations in order to participate in meetings, institutional events, etc.
- Ability and willingness to conduct all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles
- Ability to lift less than 25 lbs.
