Job Summary
Plan, direct, and coordinate the Food Services Department to deliver professional services to patients, staff, and guests. Plan regular and modified diets for all patients as prescribed by the medical staff, while routinely visiting patients to counsel them on nutritional needs. Participate in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs, and assist with the department's Quality Assessment and Quality Improvement plan. Utilize standardized practices in accordance with PAM Health policies and procedures. This Director of Food Service/Chief Clinical Dietitian role is based at a Covington LTACH within PAM Health's network of specialty healthcare locations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be registered, licensed or certified according to the guidelines of the state in which the hospital resided
- Must possess a B.S. degree in Food/Nutrition, General Dietetics or Institutional Management
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in a clinical setting with supervisory experience preferred
- Rehabilitation experience a plus
