Director of Food Operations

Job Summary
Oversees the management of all ilani managed food operations, leading and guiding outlet management, coordinating with Executive Chef and Director of Beverage Operations, and driving superior guest service and profitability. Responsible for training and development of staff, budgeting and cost analysis, inventory management, scheduling, health and safety compliance, and maintaining strong cross-divisional partnerships to optimize opportunities. Requires extensive leadership experience in high-volume hospitality/casino food operations, expertise in budgeting, cost control, and labor optimization, and strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster a positive culture aligned with Spirit of Talícn and ilani core values. Some duties include monitoring food outlets for safety standards, collaborating on menu and product offerings, and ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences while adhering to company policies and health/safety measures. Preferred experience in Hospitality/Casino Industry and ability to adapt to flexible work hours, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Fifteen (15) years of food operations supervisory/management experience in a high volume, high quality, multi-unit food and beverage environment
- Fifteen (15) years of ordering and organizing food inventory
- MAST and Food Handling certification required
