Job Summary
Organize Food and Beverage department activities across kitchens, banquet operations, restaurants, room service, the gift shop, and bars to maintain high standards of quality, service, and marketing while maximizing resort profitability. Develop annual budgets and short-to-long-term financial operating plans, attend mandatory divisional and executive meetings, and lead community public relations efforts. Demonstrate positive leadership to inspire team members, resolve guest conflicts with tact, and perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards. This role requires ten plus years of Food and Beverage experience, including three years in executive chef or management capacity.

- Must have the ability to communicate in English
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times
- Can communicate well with guests
- Must be willing to 'pitch-in' and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player
- Considerable skill in complex mathematical calculations without error
- Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts
- Ability to move throughout all food and beverage areas and hospitality suites and continuously perform essential job functions
- Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
- Ability to observe and distinguish product quality by smell, taste, and appearance
- Thorough knowledge of food and beverage operations including foods, beverages, supervisory aspects, service techniques, and guest interaction
- Considerable skill in math and algebraic equations using percentages
- Ability to walk, stand, and/or bend continuously to perform essential job functions
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods
- Ten plus years of experience in Food and Beverage
- Three of which should be from an Executive Chef and Management level
