Job Summary
Director of Food & Beverage at Union Square Hospitality Group in Downtown Detroit leads the Management and Culinary teams across 4 outlets and 16,000 sq. ft. of event space, overseeing F&B and catering for a premium 5-star property. The role drives operational performance, financial results, and guest experience, partnering with the Executive Chef to align on goals, menus, and execution, and building a high-performing team with clear career pathways. A seasonally strong hospitality leader with extensive experience in upscale dining will manage guest feedback, loyalty programs, and company-wide initiatives while championing diversity, inclusion, and belonging, and maintaining scalable operational infrastructure for growth.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in restaurant and hospitality management, including GM or equivalent roles
- Proven track record in full-service, upscale, 5 star or Michelin fine dining environments
- Strong financial acumen — P&L ownership, performance metrics, and strategic planning
- Proficiency in restaurant management systems and operational best practices
- Bachelor's degree preferred, though not required
