Job Summary
As Director of Food & Beverage, you will oversee all aspects of the food and beverage operations to maintain high standards of quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and deliver excellent customer service through our GOLDEN Service philosophy. You will lead a team of professionals, ensuring they provide the best possible experience for our customers, manage budgets and costs, ensure health and safety compliance, participate in executive leadership meetings, drive menu development and standard operating procedures, recruit and train staff, and collaborate with culinary leadership to elevate service and quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in the Director of Food & Beverage position
- Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification and Responsible Beverage Server (RBS) Certification
- Must be able and willing to get ServSafe Manager certified within 30 days of employment
- Casino experience is highly preferred
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is highly preferred
- Strong English communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proven ability to manage a team, delegate tasks and provide effective feedback
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including budget, inventory management, menu planning, and cost control
- Ability to maintain high standards of quality and hygiene in the F&B front and back of house areas
